MOTOROLA XOOM TO LAUNCH AT BEST BUY ON FEBRUARY 17

Best Buy will start selling the Motorola Zoom Android tablet on February 17th. Stock will reach the retailer on February 16th and sales will begin the next day. While there is no official word yet, it is rumored that Best Buy will charge $699.99 for the tablet. That is $100 less than Verizon's rumored price.

The Motorola Xoom is a 10.1 inch Android tablet. It runs Android Honeycomb and is equipped with LTE for connecting to Verizon's 4G network.

The tablet has a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor. The 10.1 inch display will have a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Other specifications include a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording and 1080p HD video playback capabilities. The tablet will come standard with 32GB onboard storage. It will also have WiFi 802.11n and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.
