Excaliber PC has started shipping the Asus G73SW-A1 gaming notebook with Intel's new quad-core processor. The 3D version of the same laptop - the G73SW-3DE is now up for pre-order.
Both G73SW-A1 and G73SW-3DE have the Intel Core i7-2630QM processor, GeForce GTX 460M 1.5GB discrete graphics, 8GB of RAM, dual 500GB hybrid HDD/SSD drives for 1TB of storage and Blu-ray combo drive. The laptops have full HD displays with LED backlight and run Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. They also feature the 'one-click' overclocking technology.
The Asus G73SW-A1 and -3DE feature a F117 stealth bomber-inspired design with a rubberized matte finish. Other specifications include 8-cell battery, built-in stereo speakers and a subwoofer,TNX TruStudio audio technology, 2 MP webcam with mic, backlit keyboard, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth, Gigabit LAN, 3 USB 2.0 ports, 1 USB 3.0 port, HDMI, VGA and 8-in-1 media card reader.
The 3D-enabled G73SW-3DE has a 120Hz 3D-capable display and comes with 3D Vision glasses. The Asus G73SW-A1 and G73SW-3D both come with a gaming mouse and backpack. They are priced at $1,849 and $1,939, respectively.
