HP PAVILION DM1Z WITH AMD ZACATE PROCESSOR UP FOR ORDER

HP has started taking orders for its 11.6 inch Pavilion dm1z with AMD Zacate processor. The base configuration includes a 1.6GHz dual core AMD E-350 processor with Radeon HD 6310 graphics, 3GB of DDR3 memory and a 320GB, 7200rpm hard drive. It is priced at $449.99. For that price you will also get a 6-cell battery, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit operating system. The laptop's 11.6 inch display has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.

The HP Pavilion dm1z offers lots of configuration options. You can, for example, upgrade to Windows 7 Professional, 4GB or 8GB of RAM, up to 750GB of hard drive or a 128GB SSD and a spare battery. Sure, adding these options will drive the price up. A fully decked up Pavilion dm1z can easily cost well over $1000.
