Kate Moss and Cheryl Cole to launch fashion range

kate mossSupermodel wants to work with Girls Aloud star Kate Moss may be joining forces with Cheryl Cole for a new clothing line. The fashion model, 34, got chatting to The X Factor judge earlier this month in Simon Cowell’s dressing room, when she went to watch rehearsals of the show.

And insiders say they were brimming with ideas about working together. ‘Cheryl and Kate instantly hit it off,’ a source reveals. ‘They were both gushing about each other. When Cheryl said she wanted to get into high street fashion, Kate got very, very animated.’

It is thought they’ll get together in the New Year to discuss their plans. ‘It’s likely to happen next year,’ the insider tells the News Of The World. ‘Together they could make an amazingly diverse range.’ Cheryl’s act Alexandra Burke won The X Factor on Saturday night.

Miranda Kerr denies reports of engagement to Orlando Bloom

Miranda Kerr
The Aussie fashion model has denied weekend reports she would wed her boyfriend, actor Orlando Bloom, next year and had been in Venice last week celebrating their engagement.

The Victoria's Secret beauty was in the Italian city to shoot David Jones's autumn/winter campaign.

The engagement news has sent gossip websites into overdrive for the past 24 hours, leaving Kerr's agent, Carlii Lyon, to set the record straight yesterday.

"Miranda herself has clearly stated she is not engaged," Lyon said. "There is nothing else to be said."

The A-listers - dubbed Kerr-Bloom - live together in New York and began dating more than a year ago.

They have been the subject of persistent wedding rumors.

Kerr, 25, last week revealed she gets frustrated at being constantly asked about her superstar beau.

"Everyone asks me to talk about him and they get really annoyed with me when I say no," she said.

"But if you want to know about him, why don't you go and ask him? I'm sorry, but that's just how it is."

While her modeling career is soaring, Kerr is looking to life beyond the catwalk.

She will bring out a self-help book for young girls, Treasure Yourself, next year.

Orlando’s Girlfriend goes Green

Los Angeles - Orlando Bloom’s girlfriend is desperate to start an eco-friendly family. Australian super model Miranda Kerr and Orlando announced they were dating in February, and Miranda has admitted there is nothing she would like more than to settle down and raise green children.

“My ideal situation would be to live on a farm in a solar-powered house with a hammock and a vegetable patch. I’ve always wanted kids, so someday, eventually, yes, it will happen,” she said.
Despite her family plans, the super sexy fashion modeling beauty refused to open up about her relationship with Orlando, 31.

“Everyone asks me to talk about him and they get really annoyed with me when I say no, but if you want to know about him, why don’t you go and ask him? I’m sorry, but that’s just how it is,” Miranda told Page Six magazine.

It was recently reported the pair were making plans to tie the knot after the Pirates of the Caribbean star was spotted splashing out on jewellery for Miranda.

“They are talking about settling down and getting married in a year. They have had a bit of a crazy year, but they do love each other and she wants to be his wife,” a source said at the time.
Orlando reportedly spent $2 000 on Afghan jewellery for Miranda at a recent charity auction, and has since demanded she throws out any baubles from her previous boyfriends.

Jessica Stam Is Having Boy Trouble

supermodel
Super model Jessica Stam, whose face has an alien sheen, is dating the son of eighties pop guy Huey Lewis, who is facing jail time on pot-possession charges and for doing graffiti on West Fourth Street. So it’s complicated, with her all, like, “If this is it, please let me know,” and him just like, “I want a new drug that won’t hurt my head.” Britney Spears will have a circus-themed 27th-birthday bash at Tenjune on Tuesday to coincide with that day’s release of her new album, Circus. And also, she blames her little sons’ saying the F-word and misbehaving in preschool on their father, and recently had a date with a guy who was “an older version of Harry Potter, but skinnier.” Giants guys Reuben Droughns and Danny Ware and Jets guys Darrelle Revis and David Clowney have been going to the Murray Hill bar the Hill to watch Monday Night Football. Heath Ledger’s sad end will be ripped off in an upcoming Law & Order episode.

Madonna and Guy’s breakup is probably going to be hard on their three kids and may damage them, maybe especially the little one they purchased in Africa. Natalie Portman couldn’t play Amy Adams’s young-nun role in the new movie of Doubt because “she didn’t understand celibacy.”

Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal’s parents are both broken-up and broke. Baz Luhrmann shot many endings for Australia, including one where Nicole Kidman simultaneously becomes a boy-raping news anchorwoman and dies of TB while singing. Ashlee Simpson’s name was misspelled “Ashley” on the cover of OK!, meaning that a copyeditor will likely be the last new Gitmo prisoner before Obama comes into office.

Now that Scrubs is finishing up, Zach Braff wants to make a movie about an American Jew who visits Israel. Claymation TV characters Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt got married in real life.

Supermodel Miranda Kerr denies Orlando Bloom marriage plans

female fashion models
She played the part of a Grecian goddess yesterday but one role Miranda Kerr is not suiting up for any time soon is that of Orlando Bloom’s wife.
The former Brisbane schoolgirl, who starred in yesterday’s celeb-studded Victoria’s Secret fashion show in Miami as fashion model, has denied reports that she and her Irish beau are to tie the knot some time in 2009.
American gossip mag Star! recently declared Bloom had been down on bended knee and proposed to Kerr earlier this year, with an Aussie spring wedding planned.
But Kerr dismissed the rumours backstage before taking her place in the coveted Victoria’s Secret runway lineup last night, strolling the catwalk models alongside fellow supermodels Adriana Lima and Heidi Klum, with R&B crooner Usher providing the music.
And Kerr was surprisingly out-shone on the catwalk by a show-stopping creation - a black diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra worn by Lima that was created by jeweller Martin Katz.
The bra is decked out with 3575 black diamonds, 117 certified one carat white round diamonds, 34 rubies and two black diamond drops, weighing a total of 100 carats, which swing down from the cleavage.
The price tag? A cool $7.5million.
Wonder if there are matching knickers?

“I can picture myself wearing it on the beach with a very thin blouse to see the sparkles through the shirt,” she exclaims. “I would love for someone to get it for me as a gift!”
Hint, hint, Marko!

Manitoba model dies in Italy

Friends and family of a Manitoba-born fashion model are asking questions about how the 26-year-old died in Italy.

Hayley Marie Kohle, originally from Beausejour, Man., northeast of Winnipeg, died Saturday in Milan.

The Italian police are investigating and Ottawa is providing consular assistance. So far, her family has heard only that she fell from a seventh-floor window.

Quinn Adams says Kohle was full of life, and she still can’t believe her close friend is dead.

“Just absolutely fabulous. She could light up a room,” Adams said.
“She was a model. She had everything going for her, she was ready to be a supermodel. And when somebody dies like that, it’s going to be suspicious, I think.
“We don’t know a lot of information, whether it was suicide, whether she was pushed, whether she accidentally fell.”

Liz Crawford, one of Kohle’s first fashion modelling coaches in Winnipeg, agrees: “How does a girl fall from the seventh floor window of a model apartment? I don’t know. I mean, you know, it’s a little unusual.”

Modelling industry needs more regulation: coach
Crawford was behind the Worker Recruitment and Protection Act, which was passed in Manitoba last spring requiring licences for employment agencies, individuals recruiting foreign workers and anyone who recruits or represents models or entertainers.

The modelling industry in general needs to be better regulated, Crawford said. She hopes other levels of government will help protect models from finding themselves in situations they’re not prepared to handle.

“My concern … for a lot of the girls that come in, is just, you know, how well educated are they before they go off and do this?” she said.
A memorial service for Kohle will be held on Monday in Beausejour.
