Miranda Kerr Wants to be a Mum

AUSSIE supermodel Miranda Kerr wants to be a mum. The Victoria’s Secret angel revealed her little secret at the launch of a new push-up bra in New York. The girl from Gunnedah, who has established herself as one of the world’s most popular models, revealed she wants kids of her own.

“Yeah, one day down the line, of course I’d love to be a mum - it’s definitely something I’d like to do,” she said. She was talking after the launch of the new Victoria’s Secret push-up bra in New York yesterday.

Kerr, who turns 24 in a fortnight, also hinted at her business-focused ambitions away from the catwalk. She will launch her book, Treasure Yourself, in time for Christmas, and has several other projects in the pipeline.

“It’s an inspirational, motivational book for young women,” said the model, who swears by organic food and a regular yoga routine.

“Definitely, I have a few things going on at the moment that I’m not allowed to talk about, which is really annoying, but I can’t,” she said. Kerr said she was not opposed to a movie role, although she was not actively pursuing a career in film.

“If there was a good role that I found interesting, I would do it,” she said. Kerr eventually wants to break out of the sex kitten niche she has lucratively carved for herself. “I don’t look at myself as a sex symbol, I see it as a job that I really love,” she said.

Kerr sent her love to her Mum, Therese, in Australia, ahead of Mother’s Day next month.
“She’s incredibly generous and understanding. I feel like I can talk to her about anything,” Kerr said. Her boyfriend, actor Orlando Bloom, was not at the event, at the Victoria Secret flagship store in Manhattan.

Kerr, who visited Australia in February with Bloom, will be in Australia for another David Jones catalogue shoot this year.

“I am coming out again in the next couple of months,” she said. Her globetrotting lifestyle made her appreciate home even more.

“I have travelled around the world, like, way too many times, and the thing is that I am so grateful to be Australian - we have so much beautiful nature and beaches - things people don’t appreciate as much as they should. And if they travelled a little more, then maybe they would.”

Gisele Says Baby Feels Like Hers 100 Percent

Toronto - In the latest issue of Vanity Fair, Gisele Bundchen shows a lot of skin and even more of her emotions regarding her husband, Tom Brady.

Gisele says in her interview that it was love at first sight when she first met Brady through a friend. She said that she immediately fell for his smile and had a hard time saying goodbye to him after the first night.

However, it was not perfect. When Gisele found out that Brady’s ex, Bridget Moynahan was pregnant, she began to question the relationship she had with Brady. At first, she urged him to make the relationship work, but Brady was satisfied with her and expressed the fact that he wanted to be with her.

She revealed that their marriage is a strong partnership. Both Brady and Gisele have each other’s backs, which is, according to Gisele, the most important aspect of marriage. About Moynahan’s son, Gisele said that the child feels like it is 100% hers even though she didn’t give birth to him. She considers him completely part of her life in the most serious way.

About her ex Leonardo DiCaprio, she mentioned that they still talk and that he is a great person who has done much to help the environment. She also said that she would like to grow her and Brady’s family very soon. Does that mean that she will adopt or have babies? She was null on the details, but one thing’s for sure; their family will grow very soon.

Paris Hilton Takes a Beach Break with her New Man

The first holiday with a new partner is a special time, full of romance, long lie-ins, frolicking in the surf, and, if you’re Paris Hilton, the perfect photo opportunity.

The heiress and fashion model was snapped enjoying herself in Hawaii with latest boyfriend Doug Reinhardt yesterday. And the couple appeared more than happy to show off their toned bodies, with Paris smiling at the camera as she walked hand-in-hand with her new love, who stars in MTV reality series The Hills.

The 28-year-old then appeared to put on a show for the cameras. In her blue bikini, white sunglasses and micro shorts she jogged up and down the beach, before going for a swim.

Normally always seen with perfect hair and make-up, Paris had opted for a more simple style with her blonde hair tied back with a small quiff.

Doug has previously been linked to his Hills co-star Lauren Conrad and Hairspray actress Amanda Bynes. But it seems the baseball player and reality TV star is smitten with Paris. ‘She’s the most beautiful girl on the planet,’ he said. ‘She’s amazing both inside and out.’

The couple were seen kissing and holding hands throughout a birthday dinner for Paris at the weekend, before kissing on stage in a club.

Bridget Hall signs on with Marco Bicego

Model Bridget Hall has appeared in ads for everything from Guess Jeans and Pepsi to Valentino and Versace. And now she’s adding designer jewelry brand Marco Bicego to her ever-growing roster of high-profile campaigns.

Beginning with the March issues of C, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and W, the fashion model will appear in the brand’s new 2009/2010 international print advertising campaign, shot in New York by fashion photographer Kenneth Willardt.

Hall will wear pieces from the brand’s “Jaipur” collection, which includes designs crafted in 18-karat yellow gold with colored gemstones such as amethyst, peridot, blue topaz, and rose and green tourmaline.

With the help of Marco Bicego’s creative team and its art director, Terri Pecora, Willardt created an ambiance that is tastefully minimalistic yet urban and cosmopolitan. The ads reflect an ever-present element of nature, which has served as the inspiration for all Marco Bicego designs. Top model Hall rose to fame in the 1990s, achieving supermodel status alongside peers such as Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington.

According to Marco Bicego, the runway veteran and long-time cover girl is the embodiment of the Marco Bicego brand: feminine, refined, self-aware, full of life and determination.

Heidi Klum Too Fat For Catwalk

German designer Wolfgang Joop has attacked fashion model Heidi Klum calling her “too heavy” to be a catwalk model, bild.com reports. Joop told Bild: “She is no runway model! Heidi Klum is simply too heavy and has too big a bust. And she always grins so stupidly. That is not avant-garde - that is commercial!” Surprisingly the 64 year old is not alone in this opinion.

Model agency head Louisa von Minckwitz said: “Heidi has hips and voluptuous curves. Ideal measurements for a catwalk model are 87-58-88.”
Heidi’s measurements are 91-69-94. Louisa adds that she thinks the German is too short: “At 1.76 metres she is five centimetres too short. But, despite everything, she is a dream woman, an advertising icon and a superstar.” Chanel head honcho Karl Lagerfeld is next to put the boot in saying: “I don’t know Heidi Klum.

She was never known in France. Claudia Schiffer also doesn’t know who she is.”
Too fat for the runway? What rubbish, we’d kill for a figure like Ms. Klum’s.

Naomi and Linda in Fight for Fashion

Naomi Campbell has had her fair share of scraps in the past but here’s one she won’t be getting cuffed for.

The feisty super model has been matched with Linda Evangelista in a battle between beauties, to represent the new Dsquared2 Spring/Summer 2009 campaign.

The brand’s designers, identical twins Dean and Dan Caten, wanted to portray Dsquared2 women as angels of war and feel that this promotion reveals the idealistic contrast of beauty between universally recognised opposites: ebony versus ivory.

The two iconic fashion models of the Nineties battle it out in a statuesque struggle but despite them looking quite evenly matched, we have our bets on Naomi coming out on top.

Dsquared2 have always tried to incorporate red hot sex appeal in their fashion shows, making the headlines in 2003 when Christina Aguilera performed a catwalk striptease with the male models.

The New York designers’ latest collection was recently presented on the runway modeling during Milan Fashion Week, showing inspiration from the 1930s and ‘jazz-hot nightclubs’.
