Check that you're using your ISP's DNS servers. I've seen similar problems where users have changed to a different ISP's DNS for troubleshooting reasons and forgotten to change them back, causing geolocation to return a non-optimal server.
This is weird...I've been using Google's DNS servers basically - which are considered as the fastest in my area - does that really affect Apple downloads?

CS5 has nothing to do with app development at all, so it's not important.
For graphics for your apps, there are dozens of other tools out there, you don't need CS5 unless you're a graphics designer and want to do graphics design.

This is getting ridiculous. Seems like every day we are getting new reports from different analysts GUESSING when the believe the phone will be introduced.
Um, that's their job. An analyst is supposed to do research in order to make educated guesses about the future behaviour and performance of a company...

Group,
In my opinion the Classic are is listed incorrectly in regards to categories and lists. While the data is mostly all correct, we have most of the early Macintosh models listed under "Macintosh (Original series)" and a separate section with Performa and Workgroup servers.
In my opinion if we separate the Performa series and Workgroup servers, we should also separate the rest of the group. In most cases when someone states "Original Macintosh" in the collector discussions that would most always only include the compact Macintosh models like the 128, 512, plus, and perhaps SE, Classic, and Color Classic models.
I seriously think we should move these "other" categories up one level and list them as follows to make it more clear, and concise.
Example
68K Desktops
Macintosh (Original series)
Inside this link would list...
128k
512k
ETC..etc..etc..
Macintosh II Series
inside this link would list...
II
IIx
ETC..etc..etc..
Macintosh LC series
inside this link would list...
LC
LCII
ETC..etc..etc..
Macintosh Performa Series
Macintosh Workgroup Servers
I think you get the point of were I am going with this. My only point for bringing this up, is due to the fact that we are getting lots of categories with nested sub categories. We should first create a hierarchical listing that is flat, and nest within that detailed information containing the specific models within the noted series.

First, there's a reason why it's iWorks, it's not i(t)Works, 'I' means 'you' have to work it out. Second, if 'lasso', still doens't work well, well you have something to hang around your ........:D

Oh how I wish I had bought stock when Jobs was just coming back on board. I seem to remember it has being around $10.00 share in the late 90's. But, at least I have some now. And, I keep contributing to their bottom line. Drink the Koolaid!!
AAPL was about $7.50/share (split adjusted) in December 2001.

It shouldn't make any difference. Are you seeing any problems or is this just precautionary? I have my iPad technically plugging in (charging via USB from my laptop) all the time and I never get any trouble. I don't track when it reaches 100%.
Just as a precaution. I know it shouldn't really matter this time (never do it), but the battery does have a lifespan after all.

CD-RW, not CD-RX. I'm sorry:o It says "Burning the disk failed because this type of CD is not supported. Error: 0x80020043. What am I doing?
Heather
Heather, what is "CD-RX?" I've never heard of that format. Is that interchangeable with CD-RW? The latter is the standard read-write format supported by most burners....

:mad:Theres really no way to do it on OSX if they are windows programs. As long as you use a bit of common sense, you shouldn't have a problem with Windows on the Mac. Any virus, trojan, or malware will only affect the Windows partition, not OSX. If all you are doing is installing Android stuff on the Windows partition, you should be okay.
Getting the best of both worlds! Being a dummy, how do i install windows on a mac or better still partision the system.

You can lock rotation and mute at the same time:
You select one function for the hardware switch and the other one then appears on the multi-task control bar (double tap home and swipe to the right: The far left hand side will show a mute option if you have the hardware switch set to rotate lock and a rotate lock option if you have the hardware switch set to mute)

You could use a markup editor like Textile or Markdown.
There are also things like HTMLarea that add the buttons and make it look almost like MS Word.

There's co-ordinates and other GPS related meta-data already in iPhoto 6.
See-http://stashbox.org/997/gpsmetadata_iphoto6.x.jpg
I bet Apple isn't going to release a hardware based GPS add-on anytime soon, but via software plug-ins-Google Maps or other earth/mapping sites.
PhotoSynth type technology in iPhoto would be amazingly cool.
